Some of the privileges of being BrownSense Verified include enjoying prominent placement on our new country-wide database of Black SMMEs which is used by government and corporate procurement entities to source goods and services. WHAT IS BROWNSENSE?
BrownSense is a way of life.
We are an online marketing platform that allows Black-owned businesses to promote their brand offering. Since its inception in January 2016, BrownSense has grown its following to a membership of over 180 764, with an estimated weekly growth of about 2000 followers. BrownSense membership is made up of Brownies from all provinces in South Africa, around the African continent and the Diaspora.
BrownSense is a truly South African online brand platform - goading the black entrepreneurial movement by offering pillars of support. Some Brownies are entrepreneurs at different levels of business, while others are professionals excelling in various sectors, but most of all, they all identify with the rallying call of BrownSense to #circulatetherand within the Black community in order to increase meaningful economic participation while building Black SMMEs.
